About This Tour
Uganda is the only country in the world where you can track mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, and white rhino in one trip — and this 14-day ultimate safari does exactly that. The Pearl of Africa, as Churchill called it, packs extraordinary biodiversity into a compact, relatively accessible country that rewards the curious traveller with experiences found nowhere else on Earth. Starting in the misty rainforest gorge of Bwindi, where you'll sit with mountain gorillas not once but twice, the journey travels through the volcanic crater lakes of western Uganda, into the dense canopy of Kibale Forest for chimpanzee tracking, north through the savannah of Queen Elizabeth National Park, and finally into the remote wilderness of Murchison Falls — where the entire Nile squeezes through a 7-metre rock gorge in a display of raw geological power. Along the way, you'll encounter Batwa forest people, track rhino on foot, cruise hippo-packed waterways, and watch Rothschild's giraffe against stormy Rift Valley skies. Uganda remains East Africa's best-kept secret. This safari changes that — for you.
