Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Safari Haus website and the purchase of travel services. By accessing our site or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Booking and Payment
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit and our written confirmation. Full payment is due no later than 60 days before your departure date. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation charges apply as follows:
- More than 60 days before departure: Loss of deposit only
- 30–60 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
- 15–29 days before departure: 75% of total tour cost
- Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of total tour cost (no refund)
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellation costs.
Changes to Your Booking
We will endeavour to accommodate changes to your booking where possible. A change fee may apply. Significant changes (e.g., different destination, dates) may be treated as a cancellation and re-booking.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for certain itineraries. Insurance should cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and personal liability.
Our Liability
Safari Haus acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, ground operators and other service providers. We accept no liability for loss, damage, injury or delay caused by these third-party suppliers. Our liability is limited to the cost of the services purchased through us.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, government actions or other force majeure events.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
